PHEW: What a Scorcher!
The annual Hordern Open Doubles saw 28 teams compete on Sunday the 24th of July, in what proved to be the hottest day of the year so far.
The competition was similarly fiery and hard-fought; the last final only finishing at 19.30, concluding a fiercely competitive day.
Congratulations to 'Stripes' (Callum Lombard & Jamie Brooks) for their victory in the Gold.

Thank you to all the teams who came to play, as well as a special thanks to Kath, for her (as ever) superb organisation, and also to all those from Arundel Pétanque Club who helped keep the day running smoothly, both beforehand and on the day.
