32 women’s teams battled it out for the IWD Doubles Trophy at Whitnash. Congratulations to the champions, Becky and Carolyn Edwins, who, after reaching the final for the third time, finally claimed the title. In a thrilling contest, they defeated Angie Brooks and Kerry Thompson 11–10 in a fantastic finish.

Thank you to all the players who took part. For some, this was their first experience competing outside their region, and we hope it was an enjoyable and memorable day.
