For over 35 years the Southern Counties Pétanque Association (SCPA) has been hosting its Awards Night for Clubs from across the Southern regions attending the dinner and presentation evening on 17 January. This year for the first time it was held at the Avisford Park Hotel near Arundel and the occasion was well received. The SCPA Awards Night celebrates individual, team, club and international achievements over the2025 season. Arundel Pètanque Club (APC) attended and APC captain Miles and his team proudly collected their Champions Trophies for winning the 6-a-side and 9-a-side League titles in their respective Divisions and gaining promotion in both. Both league teams were dominant over the season and played exceptionally high quality pétanque. Kerry (APC) and Angela (APC) collected their winners trophy for the 3rd year running by winning the International Women's Day doubles title a great achievement against stiff opposition. Arundel Pétanque Club can be rightly proud of their achievements over the 2025 season and aim to continue the upward trend for the 2026 season.
